Location, health and safety
The Cambridge School of English organizes summer camps near the Baltic Sea, mountains and stunningly beautiful lakes. Our summer camps are kept safe by security, lifeguards, WOPR instructors and insurance (10.000 zł). In addition, doctors are available around the clock on-site.
Delicious and nutritious food
Our summer camps include four meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper). The menu consists of a healthy and balanced diet that covers the necessary calories, proteins, carbohydrates and fats. The food on offer includes includes fresh vegetables and fruit, dairy products, meat or fish, and juices.
Topics to discuss
Getting to know each other - prepare for quizzes, riddles, and puzzles. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a project about themselves, their family, interests, talents and other interesting details. Exciting!
Visiting Great Britain - our native speakers will take you on a trip to Great Britain. We will talk about the most famous British monuments and participants will also play the role of famous detective Sherlock Holmes to solve extraordinary and mysterious riddles.
Sightseeing around the USA - Sightseeing around the USA - welcome to the United States! Participants will create a healthy version of a restaurant with typical fast food and will develop the constitution of the ideal country. Do you speak British English or American English? Can you recognize accents, words and structures? We'll check it! We will try to make it in Hollywood and will play American football.
G'day mate! Have you ever been to Australia? Did you know there are twice as many kangaroos in Australia as people? We will create a colorful Australian poster. During the warm weather, we will organize races of jumping kangaroos, running emu birds and boomerang games.
Are you as cool as a cucumber? - is a comic project. Students will create a grammatical comic book presenting grammatical rules, structures, interesting sayings, and idioms learned from their summer. The protagonists of the comic will be camp participants and feature their adventures. Before starting the project you will have an exciting repetition of grammar rules - get ready for lots of games and quizzes. There will be something to fight for!
And the Oscar goes to ... - participants will prepare a video about English-speaking countries and native speakers, using materials prepared by the teacher and information from English-language magazines, blogs and YouTube. The premiere of the film is scheduled for the last day of camp.
Summer camp programs
Water sports see participants playing water polo and improving their swimming skills.
Adrenaline activities give you an opportunity to go on a water bike and feel the thrill of swimming on a banana. The best adrenaline junkies will win prizes!
Forest activities will help you find the right path in the forest, learn to navigate, draw maps, build a campfire and a hut and protect food from animals.
Sports activities include team and individual competitions, a beach volleyball tournament, and obstacle courses. The winners will be awarded with medals.
Creative activities allow you to develop your imagination
Additional information
We divide kids into groups according to their age and the level of English. Each group can consist of 8 to 15 kids. It’s a good idea to make a list of things to bring: hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, flip-flops, shower cap, bath towel), jumpsuit, sport shoes, favorite casual clothes (including footwear) and favorite books.
